Loved this episode Gerry🫶🏽

I just bawled hearing your story of getting diagnosed. I can’t believe all of the total SHIT that was being blown your way🙈 I cried knowing how scared you must have been being alone all those times in the hospital.

My son left to serve a 2 year mission for our church in Tahoe Nevada not knowing he had PAH. Having undergone a kidney transplant at 15 we thought we had weathered all the storms. Little did we know…..the real storm was just brewing. He walked off that plane 2 years later and could hardly make it to the car. I knew in my heart something was wrong. After passing out 3 times in the next 10 days and the last one almost not coming back he got admitted to the CICU in Salt Lake where FINALLY was diagnosed and started immediately on Remodulin. Having this life changing diagnoses is hard but I always say never as hard as knowing something is drastically wrong but NOT KNOWING what it is. Knowledge is power. Keep up the fight. Give that darling husband of yours a big hug. He’s so devoted to you and the boys. Ain’t nothin you can’t do with that army of boys behind you😘

That’s so hard, but there’s such a dichotomy of getting a diagnosis being thankful that you got one and also being heartbroken that you got one. Im glad he is getting treatment! Hugs to you guys. Thanks for listening and tuning in, the kind words are what keep me going.
